Shipping & Fulfillment

Everything about how BigDogButtons produces, packages, and delivers your custom order — timelines, rush options, pickup locations, and blind shipping.

Business Hours

All production and pickup operates on the following schedule (Pacific Time):

  • Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM PT
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM PT
  • Sunday: Closed
  • Federal and California holidays: Closed

Orders placed after the daily cutoff or on closed days are counted as submitted at the start of the next production day.

Standard Production Time

Standard turnaround is 3–5 production business days after receipt of an approved proof and cleared payment. This excludes shipping transit time. Production begins only after (1) payment is confirmed and (2) your digital proof is approved. Delays in proof approval delay production start accordingly.

Rush Order Tiers

Rush availability is calculated in real time at checkout based on current production capacity and order cutoff eligibility. Surcharges apply to the base product total and are non-refundable once production begins.

Same-Day Production

+60% surcharge
  • Ready same production day (subject to cutoff)
  • Local pickup only — same-day carrier shipping is not available
  • Order and proof must be approved before the daily cutoff

Rush (1–2 Business Days)

+40% surcharge
  • Ready within 1–2 production business days
  • Available for pickup or shipment
  • SLA ship-by / ready-by date confirmed in order confirmation

Expedited (3–4 Business Days)

+20% surcharge
  • Ready within 3–4 production business days
  • Available for pickup or shipment
  • SLA ship-by / ready-by date confirmed in order confirmation

Shipping Carriers

We ship via UPS, USPS, and FedEx. Rates are calculated in real time at checkout. We are not responsible for carrier-caused delays, lost packages, or damage in transit — such claims must be filed directly with the carrier.

  • UPS — Ground, 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air, and others as quoted. Most reliable for business/commercial addresses.
  • USPS — Priority Mail, Priority Mail Express, Ground Advantage. Most economical for lightweight orders and PO Box delivery.
  • FedEx — Ground, 2Day, Overnight, and others as quoted.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number and a direct tracking link. You can also view shipment status at any time in your customer portal. If you do not receive a shipping confirmation within your expected production window, contact us at orders@bigdogbuttons.com.

Local Pickup Locations

Free local pickup is available at all three Greater Los Angeles locations. You will receive a "Ready for Pickup" notification when your order is available. Please bring your order confirmation when picking up.

Blind Shipping

BigDogButtons offers blind shipping for resellers — your outgoing label displays a sender address you designate instead of our address. Key details:

  • Available for UPS and USPS shipments
  • Customer is responsible for ensuring the designated sender address is accurate and authorized
  • Carrier internal tracking records may still reflect underlying origin information
  • Does not affect the quality, packaging, or contents of your order
  • Availability is indicated during checkout for eligible orders

Shipping Damage and Lost Packages

  • Carrier damage: Retain all packaging materials and contact the carrier directly to file a claim. Photograph the damage before disposing of packaging.
  • Lost packages: Contact the carrier to initiate a trace or lost package investigation. Contact us if the carrier confirms a loss.
  • Incorrect address: If a package is returned due to an address error on your part, reshipment is at your expense.
